Lijiang Tour

Lijiang is a popular tourist destination in Southwest China's Yunnan Province. It is considered a fairyland blessed with an undisturbed landscape inhabited by the ethnic groups. Pingyao Tour

Located in the middle of China's Shanxi Province, Pingyao is about 715 km from Beijing and 80 km from the provincial capital, Taiyuan. Pingyao was a financial center of China in the Qing Dynasty. It is now famed for its well-preserved ancient City Wall, and is a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Pingyao tourist attactions include the City Wall, Ming and Qing Streets, Rishengchang, Qiao Family Compound and Wang Family Compound.

How to get to Pingyao:

You can first fly or take a train to Shanxi's capital Taiyuan. Then take a 1.5 hour bus to Pingyao. Pingyao is also accessible by train.

What to buy in Pingyao

Lacquer ware and hand made shoes are best to buy as souvernirs.
